Nutrition and Dietetics Program

The Nutrition and Dietetics Department offers two degree programs for students seeking to take their interest in nutrition and health to the next level!

Our five-year combined B.S./M.S. degree program meets the knowledge requirements and competencies for entry-level practice as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). The program is designed for students entering college for the first time, as well as transfer students.

Our M.S. degree program in Nutrition and Dietetics meets the knowledge requirements and competencies for entry-level practice as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).  It is designed for students with an undergraduate degree, who wish to complete course work and supervised practice requirements to meet their goal of becoming a RDN. Our M.S. degree program can be completed in four full-time semesters.

Both programs include a Coordinated Program (CP) which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND®) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Graduates of both our B.S./M.S. and our M.S. programs are eligible to take the Commission on Dietetic Registration ( CDR) national examination to become a  Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
