D’Youville’s online B.S. completion program in dental hygiene was created for  students who have earned their Associate of Applied Science  (A.A.S.)  or Associate of Science (A.S.) Degree in Dental Hygiene degree who are licensed to practice as a dental hygienist and want to continue their education to earn a baccalaureate degree through a completion program that offers students choice in their career trajectory with possibilities in public health, health administration, practice management, and business. Students with the bachelor’s degree will also be able to teach in an associate degree program.
Program Goals

Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA each semester. Any semester in which the cumulative DYU GPA goes below 2.0, the student will be placed on probation for the following semester. If the student does not increase their GPA to 2.0 by the end f the 2nd semester after probation was first applied, the student may be dismissed from the program. 

Admission criteria: 

Students must hold an AAS or AS degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program and institution, and have a license to practice as a dental hygienist are eligible to apply. Official transcripts from ALL previously attended colleges/universities must be submitted
